Talent-CGT joined the DARE-NL Annual Conference for an interactive workshop on one of the central challenges facing advanced therapies: how education can keep pace with the skills needed in the workplace.
The session, “Bridging the gap: a unified approach to ATMP workforce training,” brought together perspectives from Talent-CGT, DARE-NL, PharmaNL, Cure4Life and other initiatives working across the Dutch ATMP training landscape.
Rather than looking at individual courses in isolation, the workshop focused on the broader training pathway: how universities, universities of applied sciences and industry can work together to prepare people for roles across advanced-therapy development and application.
Participants were invited to map existing training activities, discuss where gaps remain, and consider how educational initiatives can better complement one another. The discussion also highlighted the importance of connecting formal education with continuing professional development and workplace learning.
For Talent-CGT, the workshop was an opportunity to place the project’s work in a wider context: not only developing CGT education within individual institutions, but helping build a more connected training ecosystem for advanced therapies.
